(CNS): More CUC customers are currently without electricity in George Town after another problem with a power pole in the industrial area, following the morning’s outage, which lasted more than two hours. Just before 2pm Friday, the power was cut again on Red Gate Road, Dorcy Drive, McClendon Drive, Industrial Park and the airport area, as well as Elgin Avenue, Hospital Road and South Church Street. CUC said the outage was due to a damaged pole at the top of the Sparky Drive.

“Our crews are on location working to restore power in a safe and efficient manner,” company officials said. Power is expected to be restored by 5pm.

Power outage due to generator. Power outage due to light poles. Power outage due to alien invasion. Power outage never due to CUC incompetence.
