Cayman News Service(CNS): Two male juveniles have been arrested on suspicion of burglary, while a third suspect remains on the run after a foot chase with police yesterday afternoon. Just after 12:30pm on Monday, officers on patrol in South Sound were flagged down by a man who told them about a burglary that had just happened at his house. Police said that the victim, who had been kitesurfing, spotted three youngsters running out of the back of his home, and when he came ashore he found that property was missing.

Other police units arrived and three youths that matched the description were spotted some distance away, police said. When asked to stop by the officers, two of the suspects ran off and “a long foot pursuit with officers ensued” by the Rugby Club, near Anne Bonny Crescent.

Although the officers managed to grab one of the runners, the second got away and is still at large. Both of the boys that were arrested are currently in police custody. One is from George Town and the other from West Bay.
