West Bay man charged with attempted murder

(CNS): Police have charged a 54-year-old man from West Bay with attempted murder in connection with an incident on Thursday night in which a woman was stabbed at her home in Watercourse Road.  Police said the suspect is known to the woman, who was attacked at around 10pm on 21 January. Although the injuries she received were not life-threatening, she was remained overnight in the George Town hospital. The man was arrested on the night of the incident and charged Tuesday morning ahead of a brief court appearance.
