CONCACAF(CNS): As the scandals concerning the world of football continue, the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) has released a request for proposals (RFP) to find a company to deal with the sale of worldwide sponsorship rights of the Confederation. Against the backdrop of serious corruption allegations relating to FIFA, and in particular CONCACAF and sponsorship deals, the association is now seeking new partners to handle the lucrative contracts going forward.

“It is our responsibility to select commercial partners who share the Confederation’s vision and commitment to grow the game by giving all of our players and teams a more robust platform to display their talents, as well as creating world-class fan experiences at CONCACAF events,” Acting General Secretary Ted Howard said in a release about the RFP.

CONCACAF is soliciting proposals for National Team Championships, Youth Championships and Club Championships, which include a long list of important tournaments, such as the Gold Cup, the Women’s World Cup Qualifying Championship, the futsal Championship and Club Championships.

I will gladly sponsor a prison cell, 10ft x 6ft, 4 bunks and a slop bucket. Only to be used by Concacaf or CIFA prisoners.

Do not be surprise. Unless things drastically change in the way FIFA and the regional confederation “work”, things could be back in business sooner than you know.
Jeff Webb did not missed a bit after talking over from Jack Warner and Alfredo Hawitt did not missed a step after talking over from JW at CONCACAF, so it might business as usual sooner than we think. It is a lot of money floating around.
