Bush calls for unity in his Christmas message

(CNS): The leader of the opposition called for unity in his video Christmas and New Year message. McKeeva Bush said it was unity that builds a country, regardless of where people come from. People may all be different but “we are all God’s children”, he said. Echoing the sentiments of the premier in his Christmas message, Bush said that despite the struggles and hardships faced by many people in Cayman, this was still a blessed country in “an evil world” and there was nowhere else he would rather be.

Mr. Bush, if you really want unity, prove it: Drop your legal action against the Premier.

Is it typical for the leader of the opposition to give out a Christmas message? Or just Bush considering himself some sort of Cayman royalty?

Do not pay any attention to Mac with his attempt to present a flowery message to the country at Christmas. Behind the scenes he is the same old gangster who believes he owns the country and is still as corrupt and hypocritical as ever. The worse thing is that he is grooming a clone of himself in Bernie.

Be fair, this is the season of goodwill. Rememberr him in your prayers and ask the lord to rid him of his unsavory gambling habits and make him whole again.

It’s an “evil world”, and we’ll mind your bank deposits. Yes, out of all the real estate on the planet, a speck of ancient coral gradually receding into a rising sea is one of the best places to stash the proceeds by pure happenstance.

Here we go again. Hog wash after hog wash. A PLEA to our MLAs:- “Please do not send out national messages if one who sends them can’t or won’t work on unity within the house”. How can someone encourage unity when all is said and done, the house is nothing but a barroom brail time and time again. How hypocritical and pompous can some people be!

Why is Mac even offering a Christmas message ? Who cares ? Surely his time has come and gone, long ago.

If he loved anything more than power he would look at how his preferential treatment for poor blacks is fir votes and is main source of division

“poor blacks”? Sir/Madam, you are clearly living in another country. I detest everything Mr.Bush represents, but let’s remain rational, okay?

      • Anonymous says:

We’ll direct/madam, do check the number of status grants under mr bush, attend his rallies, listen to his talks for unity, all focused on the majority who are black Jamaicans/ West Indians but I do accept your correction re “poor” most Jamaicans have more than caymanians from the managing directors in law firms to formed tic helpers, but poor in sense of being dependent on bush and other white colonial masters to whom they all can’t seem to shake

Too bad you never thought about unity when you were so very adamant about runing the country by yourself, Mr Bush.
