Teenager missing from WB boys home

(CNS) UPDATED FRIDAY: Police say they are still looking for a 16-year-old boy who is a resident at Bonaventure Boys Home in West Bay and has been missing since Wednesday around 3:00pm. Luis Soler is 5’7” and weighs about 185 lbs and was wearing a black polo shirt, black pants, a white t-shirt and black shoes when he was last seen at the Cayman Islands Further Education Centre. Police are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to call West Bay Police Station at 649-3999.

    With a $2 million dollar annual budget given to CAYS Foundation, whether they have 1 child or 10 children, the organization should be able to afford private detective services to find this child before the next story we read is that he has been hurt. Children abscond from these homes too frequently and no one is held accountable.
