(CNS): A 16-year-old boy who went missing more than a week ago was found by police in West Bay on Thursday. Luis Soler, who is a resident at the Bonaventure Boys Home in the district, was said to be in good health. Police did not say how the boy was found or where he had been but they said he was not located with public assistance. Meanwhile, an RCIPS spokesperson confirmed that Jaesha Hendrix (21), who was reported missing in October, has not been found. Police want to speak with her in connection with a drug case but they also said they are concerned about her welfare as she has not been seen for three weeks.

Hendrix’ mother received a text from her daughter’s phone about week after her disappearance saying she was fine but the police have not been able to confirm that the message came from Hendrix, who is also known as Jaesha Solomon or ‘Maliya’.

She was last seen on the morning of 23 October at the Lakeside Apartments off the Esterly Tibbetts Highway. Police are urging members of the public to report anything they know to the police at the George Town Police Station on 949-4222 or Crime Stoppers 800-8477 (TIPS).

Police – Please charge whoever was ‘aiding and abetting’ the child runaway but didn’t help get him back where he belonged (a place of known safety). (It could get called kidnapping but that would desensitize the word.)

Police do not care about nobody’s well being. Make dem fool you.

If this girl has any sense, (which I know she has) she will stay underground until the RCIPS arrests those who would kill her. Knowing the incompetence/corruption of the RCIPS, I would say that this precious young lady is surviving elsewhere. You go girl! Screw the haters. Thank God for a free press.
