(CNS): Police have released the picture of a man who remains at large in connection with the recent illegal landing of suspected drug smugglers. Police are asking the public to help them find Geranimo Vaughan (left), who is believed to have entered the Cayman Islands with three other men on 25 October aboard a Jamaican style canoe in North Side as part of the suspected drug smuggling operation.

The police recovered the abandoned boat and drugs reportedly thrown from the vessel when the smugglers were interrupted by the marine unit. Three men who were believed to have been on the canoe have already been rounded up and charged in connection with the incident.

The public is being urged to exercise caution if they see the missing man and anyone with information is asked to contact the Drugs and Serious Crime Task Force at 949-4222.

Of course anytime that Jamaicans are involved in crimes, the police and media is very careful NOT to mention that the suspects are Jamaicans. HAVEN’T WE ALL NOTICED THIS TREND?

I think he is a human being, probably landed on the wrong side of the tracks. being a furrener does not make him a criminal, doing some crime would be the reason for that. Guessing from the racism on here that not one Caymanian is in Northward? Now hold on a minute….
