accident(CNS): Drivers travelling on North Sound Road in George Town are being urged by police to avoid the roundabout near A.L. Thompson’s store as a result of three-car collision, which has blocked traffic across Godfrey Nixon Way and the North Sound Road. These people are so selfish with small pea brain and not thinking other people who using the road daily for work or pleasure……take photo of the accident with smartphones then move crashed vehicles out of the way to exchange name and phone numbers. There is no law that you must call the police! Police have more important work than dealing car accidents. I was there twice and slow down my daily work today.

I ran out of gas in town right infront of breezes on the water front. I manage to get the car parked parrallel to the side walk. Anyway, I made it home which isn’t very far and got a ride back with a gas can. By the time I got back which was the span of about 8 minutes, there was a officer writing me a ticket. The officer let me off but argued that I should have called the police to direct traffic. So I don’t know if they have any other important stuff to do really.

I am going to buy a web cam for when I am on my bike and would love to show the cars that drive in the ETH nearside hard shoulder trying to kill me every morning. Name and shame I think is long overdue.

I cannot agree with you more. When I would ride my bike in, it seemed as though some got pleasure out of driving as close to me as possible. I was going to bring a paint spray can with me to mark their cars but then just decided it wasn’t worth my life riding a bike in Cayman.

…but that would mean enforcing the law. We do not do that here.

    What are indicators?

cops should be on the butterfield roundabout everyday and ticket the people who don’t use their indicators. they would make millions.
    problem solved.

Just came through Savannah school zone, I would say 90% of cars were well over 30mph with the light flashing. Also 2 cars full of 18-20 year olds, racing. Unbelievable.

and use CORRECT lanes on roundabout…..It is NOT a dodge bumping car track!!!

And there should be a Butterfield ATM in the middle of the roundabout for offenders to pay spot fines
