Final blood moon one to watch, say local astronomers

Blood moon(CNS): The final lunar eclipse in a series of blood moons that started in April last year should be one to watch out for later this month, the Cayman Islands Astronomical Society has said. The eclipse will start on Sunday 27 September a little after sunset and sky-watchers in Cayman will be well placed for a great view of the five hour long eclipse. However, not everyone is looking forward to the astronomical phenomenon, as some claim it will bring a massive world-ending meteor strike.

    I did not comment on this as I was hoping to have the chance to have a go at some bible bashing commentator on how this will herald the end of the world because we may have to accept and recognize LBGT marriage here. Damn disappointing, come on someone, make my Friday!!!
