Cops charge local man with liquor store break-in

Cayman News Service(CNS): A 54-year-old man from George Town was expected in court Monday after police charged him with a burglary at a liquor store in the early hours of Friday morning on North Church Street. A police spokesperson said the man was also charged with theft in connection with a separate incident. The man was netted by police on patrol in downtown George Town, who spotted the man with bottles in both hands. 

When the officers called out to him, he ran off dropping more booze bottles from under his clothes. The susepct, who was already on bail for various offences, was caught on Eastern Avenue and arrested.
