Gunmen rob GT nail salon

(CNS) Updated: Police responded to Grand Cayman’s latest armed heist on Friday evening at a George Town nail salon. An armed robbery at the GKS Business Park, Godfrey Nixon Way in George Town, was reported to the RCIPS at around 8pm after two suspects entered the location carrying what appeared to be guns. An unknown quantity of cash and jewellery was taken from both staff and customers during the armed hold-up but police said no shots were fired and no one was injured.

One suspect was around six feet tall, with a slim build, dressed all in black with a shirt or cloth covering his head and cut off jeans. The second was around five feet six inches tall, wearing similar clothing to his partner in crime.

Police said no arrests have yet been made and anyone with informaiton is asked to call George Town CID Department on 949-4222 or CrimeStoppers if they wish to remain anonymous on 800 TIPS (8477).

    That description sounds familiar to other hold-ups, one tall and slim, the other short, just reminding everyone that crime stoppers offer a $50k reward for a successful gun crime conviction.

      Probably on another one of the “fishing” boats docked up in prospect on “residential” land. I love the washing hanging out too, and the porta loos, and the late night drinking and dominoes.

      My favourite is the new one across the street from the pit-bull breeders on Prospect Drive, they are even providing the power for them.

      Sort it our, planning, immigration, police, elected officials ffs!
