Car catches fire in early morning crash

accident(CNS): Police are calling for witnesses to a single vehicle crash early Saturday morning on the Esterley Tibbetts Highway close to the National Gallery. At around 4am on 11 July a Honda CRV collided with a CUC light pole and burst into flames. The 51-year-old man who was driving the car was taken to hospital by a passerby, where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries and later discharged. 

There were no other people or vehicles involved and the police are asking anyone who may have seen what happened to contact the George Town Police Station on 949-4222 with any information regarding the incident.
