Sahira Wong Quintero

(CNS): A Cuban woman reported missing last week from the Treasure Island resort on the West Bay Road may have left the Cayman Islands, the police have said. However, they are still seeking confirmation and are continuing the investigation into the whereabouts of Sahira Wong Quintero (22), who was last seen on 11 May with the woman she travelled with to Cayman. The police received a missing person report on Wednesday 13 May but they now believe the woman may have left and is safe and well.

Nevertheless, the RCIPS said they had not been able to confirm this and urged anyone with any information to contact the police at the George Town Police Station to confirm on 949 4222 or Crime Stoppers at 800-8477 (TIPS)

Well ! ? Has she left the island or not ! Why do news services not publish or chase up the end of a story ?

Missing woman “may” have left the Island??? Don’t we have an immigration department that can confirm this? Or will she be added to the list of missing woman?

Good thing we all have to hand in that little white card when we depart. And get the stink eye if we don’t have it……………..

The RCIPS seem to be clutching onto strawa as usual. Speculating that she has left the island is only that until proven otherwise or maybe this is just an excuse to stop looking?
