(CNS) Updated with CCTV footage: Following another two reports of sexual harassment and assaults in West Bay by a man on a bicycle, police have issued CCTV footage and images of a suspect taken on Birch Tree Hill Road. Detectives from the district police station are asking the public to help identify the man as they now wish to speak to him in connection with at least five assaults of a similar nature on women either exercising or walking to work in the district over the last six months.

The police said a jogger was assaulted by the cycling sex pest just before 7:00am on Tuesday 12 May on Birch Tree Hill Road, West Bay, but two other similar complaints involving females walking in in the same area had also been logged.

Suspected sex pest in West Bay

Another woman has now reported being assaulted on Monday 11 May while she was jogging along Conch Point Road. She was also approached and indecently assaulted by a man riding a bicycle in a similar way. Since the release of information about the sexual assaults, a third woman has also come forward and reported that she had also been approached by a man riding a bicycle last November 2014, on Rev. Blackman Road in the early hours of the morning while jogging.

It is alleged the accused indecently assaulted her by touching her on the backside in the same type of assault as the other women reported this week.

The man is described as having a dark complexion, a slim build, wearing black shorts. He is around 5’ 6” to 5’ 8” tall.

Police are asking anyone who can identify the man in the videos or photographs or who had similar experiences when out exercising or walking in the district to contact Detective Dave Morrison at the West Bay Police Station on 949 3999 or Cayman Crime Stoppers on 800 8477 (TIPS).

Why is this person still at large, really? How many more assaults on women before the police step up and apprehend the assailant?

Awful resolution. What’re these? 1mp lenses? How much did this crap system cost and who really benefitted from the contract??!

It’s 1080p full high def. But even that will seem pixelated when you try to blow up a small part of the frame.

If you expect to maintain good resolution as you continue to enlarge a section of the image then you should start looking at spy satellite technology, which is a bit outside our price range in Cayman.

Anyone who has lived the Birch Tree Hill/Barkers area more than six months can tell you who this is and what is more surprising is the police should have no problem identifying him, what is most amazing is that this individual is wearing a police tracking device and he can be seen all hours of the night and early mornings roaming the streets, breaking in to properties and stealing. The last snapshot shows him not even 1/4 mile from his home. What purpose does these monitors serve? why do we continue to drain this country to by paying for something that serves no purpose?

In the old days someone would surely lay in wait for him and give him an early morning whipping.

Not that it matters. He just get a hand a slap and be le go.

Ok, so your gonna tell me that no one recognizes this pig. Come on people . Could be anyone’s family member getting harassed by this p.o.s. Step up and do the right thing.

Those million dollar cameras are great. I can see the hair on his face!……..

30 yrs of combat-derived affordable HD nightvision tech and KYD$32mln/yr has bought us a few grainy low resolution baby monitor cameras. It would be funny if it weren’t so sad. Who authorized this antiquated camera caper and against what other available options?!? This sucks!

I can tell you he is a Jamaican!!!

    • Anonymous says:

Because you know who he is? Call the police.

As a jamaican myself I can tell you, you might be right. Unfortunately

I thought the same thing, but I wouldn’t have said it. However, a lot of them are now Caymanians as well since 2003.

      • Anonymous says:

Yes – but that can be revoked and him deported if anyone has balls.

        • Anonymous says:

It can only be revoked through the same process that it was granted. Tell Big Mac he made a mistake with this one.

          • Anonymous says:

The list has a lot more than one on it!

            • Anonymous says:

True but if Caymanians hadn’t been so shortsighted and joined Mac with the list, we wouldn’t have this situation.

With all the lawyers now elected, they can’t find the loophole to help us revoke these, even for sake of national security and outright genocide?

Oh yeah forget, didn’t former UDP member admit they gave so many now advising the government status through cabinet grants in 2003 (AG? DPP?? and many civil servants?) and we expect them to help find a solution?

I have a suggestion they usually hate the UK and white people so find those and have them arrested for treason!! farfetched?? well, we have to find a solution and our leaders won’t

What a freakin’ mess…….. we could have admired cultures, people from a distance didn’t have to bring so much c**p here and even many long term Jamaicans know this
