Hit and Run suspect arrested

Cayman News Service(CNS): A 24-year-old local man from Bodden Town was arrested yesterday in connection to the fatal collision Thursday, in which the driver left the scene after knocking Donnie Ray Connor off his bike. According to an RCIPS report, detectives from George Town Police Station arrested the man on Sunday 26 April on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and leaving the scene of an accident.  This arrest follows the fatal collision on the Linford Pierson Highway in the early hours of Thursday 23 April.

A silver Honda car with damages was seized as part of the investigation and the accused remains in custody at George Town Police Station.
