West Bay family service office closed

(CNS): Customers of the Department of Children and Family Services in West Bay will now need to travel to George Town to meet with social workers and support staff as the local office has closed. Government officials released a notice Thursday stating: “Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Department of Children and Family Services wishes to advise the public that its West Bay office is closed as of Friday 20 March, 2015 until further notice. Staff have been relocated to Commerce House located on Dr Roy’s Drive.”

CNS contacted officials to find out why the office has closed and for how long however no one has responded and we are unable to provide readers with any further details.

      How could Mack, Eugene, and Burnie just sit back and let something like this to happen. This is the kind of representation that west bay and the people get . Why funds could not be found to keep this very important service open in west bay .

        Guess the PPM govt is trying to squeeze West Bay and Tara Rivers is allowing this. Mac and those can’t stop the PPM govt from doing this but Tara could have done something. What a sell out she is. West Bayers, unna should have known better.

      But batman, the private sector pundits keep saying to cut the size of the civil service because they don’t create jobs/wealth only the private sector does that?
