(CNS): The campaign for what is expected to be the most unpredictable UK election in modern history began on Monday. Officially campaigning began at midnight on Sunday when the British Parliament was dissolved, and on Monday morning David Cameron had his final audience for this term in office with the Queen. Leading polls in the UK have, at the formal start of the election race, both the Labour and Conservative parties neck and neck, with the Liberal party trailing behind both by more than 20 points.

But political pundits are predicting that almost a quarter of the electorate won’t be voting for any of the three main parties.

With UKIP challenging the main parties in a number of constituencies where both Europe and immigration are on the top of the populist agenda, the Scottish Nationalist Party set to take most of Labour’s seats over the boarder and the Green Party also proving an increasingly possible alternative for voters, the traditional three party dominance of the national ballot is under threat.

No one is expecting or predicting an outright victory from any one parties and main question will be who, 38 days from now, will be doing deals with who to form another coalition government after the British voters go to the polls on 5 May.

Campaigning begins in earnest now and among the many, many political  issues bound to appear on the hustings is tax havens and their part in the reduction of the money going tot he Treasury from corporate tax payers. .

Ed Milliband has warned that Labour will demand a transparent and central beneficial ownership register for the British territories including the Cayman Islands within six months if it takes power and despite the assurances that the Conservative led coalition was prepared to accept a register that was accessible to the relevant authorities only, on Friday David Cameron was also indicating that he wanted to the OTs to rethink their opposition to a public central register.

UKIP voters in the UK make West Bay UDP voters seem like balanced sensible individuals.

UKIP will win due to the insane amount of immigrants entering the UK (especially Muslims) who are trying to rid the country of British values and implement their ridiculous laws. UKIP are against this. Thank God.

UKIP are proposing to change the status of the OTs to tie them closer to the UK. Part of this will be to give them their own representation in Parliament but don’t be at all surprised if UKIP also try to close the current one-way immigration process by giving all UK Citizens automatic rights of residency in the OT’s.

Stupid is as stupid does. 50 million Brits won’t fit here. If they could we might get some half decent politicos, but traffic jams would be horrendous.

News just in. 50 million Brits do not want to move here. you already have horrendous traffic jams without the help of others.

Other news just in, faced with a potential constitutional crisis if the SNP or UKIP hold the political balance in their hands then you are right, it won’t be 50m, it will be 60m

Breaking, 70 million (slight exaggeration) exiled Brits will return to the Motherland to enjoy Scottish Freeeedommm!

UKIP will probably win 1 seat. Out of 650. But from the rest of your post it is obvious you are an ignorant, uneducated bigot. Try to stay away from computers and voting booths in the future.

According to the latest poll, UKIP are projected to get 1 MP. That is 325 fewer than they need to form a government. I rather doubt that they will win but I may be wrong and you could be right.

Is life a struggle when you are so stupid or are you just blissfully unaware? UKIP will struggle to win 1 seat. I think they will just get it. UKIP started to sink after its poor showing in the Rochester by-election, it did not get enough vote share to tempt more Tories to move over and then started to implode under the glare of pre-election scrutiny. Still, a few ignorant cave-dwellers like you will still support them.
