(CNS): A 30-year-old man accused of a violent street robbery in George Town last November has denied all of the charges and is expected to face trial later this year. Marlon Porter, from George Town, pleaded not guilty to robbery, GBH and carrying an offensive weapon Friday. He is accused of mugging a woman at knifepoint on 24 November outside an address in Whitman Seymour Road off Sound Way.

The crown claims Porter used a knife and intentionally wounded his victim when he stole her Galaxy phone. However, with a packed court docket, no trial date was set for the case and Porter was bailed to return to court on Friday 13 March.
