Clifton Hunter tops school sports challenge

(CNS): For the third-year running, Clifton Hunter High School emerged as the overall winner of the seventh annual Inter-secondary Track and Field Meet. During the three-day event teenage athletes from all of Cayman’s secondary schools, from the public and private sectors, went into fierce competition. CHHS tallied up an impressive 804 points, just nine points over second place winners, the John Gray Blazers, one of two teams from the government school in George Town.

The final results were as follows:

804 – Clifton Hunter High

795 – John Gray Blazers
177 – John Gray Bolt
167 – Layman Scott High

151 – Dual Enrollment (UCCI)

150 – Cayman Prep High
98 – Cayman Academy

76 – CIFEC
65 – Cayman International School

57 – St Ignatius High
13 – Wesleyan Christian Academy

      So in your opinion, taking part in sporting activity does not contribute to education? Wow. It must hurt to be you. All RRR and no healthy activity must be a dull way to live.
