Is the Health and Solar Power Government Initiatives Genuine or is There a Hidden Political Agenda?

In light of the political furnace ablaze between the two parties hurling each
other  into the center of the heat; Let us pray that the Department organizing visits to these 2,000 homes using the census report will be used strictly for health purposes and not some underlying political ploy. I'm curious to see which demographic will be targeted and their voting status as well as each of their political party affiliations if any. One of the initiatives is labeled a Health Stat shape Up Policy. The other is labeled as a Renewable Solar Energy Programme, with Mr. Joey Ebanks as the new Director of the Electricity Regulatory Authority overseeing the Save the Home Programme . This was announced by  Premier Bush at a press conference on Tuesday April 24, 2012.

This is election year and there will be much political grandstanding before
an audience of over l5,000  registered voters.A constituency of families now
divided by the two political parties. Indeed the party system has been
tested, and proven to be way too intense and has too great an impact on
Cayman's small and delicate society, and therefore there is a call to abolish the party system in hopes of restoring political, social and economic stability to the
country.

Careful note must be taken of the cunning and crafty nature of this current
regime. The l500 home owners living below the poverty line, a demographic
targeted by this government under the guise of a move to assist those
economically challenged homeowners to better cope with the cost of utility
expenses by introducing to them the newly proposed renewable solar
energy program. We are suspicious at politicians every move as this is not
quite the government we can trust.

"One and One is Two  but  1500 and 2000 is 3500.
Let us consider the 4,000 plus signatures already secured by a petition
against the West Bay Road closure by Dart with the premier's full support. ,
Not excluding almost 5,000 signatures supporting the petition for a people's
initiated referendum for the One Man One Vote to be voted on by
Caymanians on July l8, 2012.

At this stage of the political game being played on all of us; don't you think
we are justified in thinking that this recent move by government of the two
initiatives aforementioned; may well be a shadow kind of Monkey Survey
that will possibly influence and gather UDP support making converts and
opponents of  those who benefit from the programs and consequently
influence those beneficiaries to take a position against these two petitions
now in circulation before July l8, 2012?

These two government initiatives could indeed  put a huge dent in the  7000
plus signatures needed by July to pass legislation. It could derail all efforts
in spearheading this petition and any ongoing campaigns by the
Independent Member from North Side and the PPM Member from East End.

Could these two government initiatives be the two headed beast of the UDP  
better recognised as the brain child of  politricks to assist all  those who are
desperate to maintain political power. Will this two headed beast wage a
bitter war on the opposition, and against the petition for a peoples initiated
referendum in order to  'guarantee' that  the One Man One vote is defeated
at the polls on July 18, 2012?
It will be interesting to listen to feed back from all those homeowners and
families that will be visited under these two new initiatives by the current
government; namely the Health Stat Shape Up Policy for blood pressure
victims as well as the l500 prospective recipients of the newly proposed
Renewable solar Energy system intended to solve the high cost of utilities
for the poor people of the Cayman Islands? The News media need to be
vigilant in reporting to the public any feedback from these demographics
that are more socially and economically challenged than the rest of us.
A drowning man will hold onto anything to save himself.
